Welcome to lesson 1- Capitalization!





Rule #1- Always begin a sentence with a capital letter.

When we begin a sentence, the first letter is always a capital letter.
  • Mary likes the dog.
  • The puppy licked my face.
  • The beach is fun.
  • I like to swing.

Directions: The sentences below are incorrect. Click on the 'Edit' button in the right hand corner to rewrite each sentence using a capital letter. Don't forget to add your name next to your sentence.

Example:
1. my teacher is nice.
(Johnny) My teacher is nice.
